The Torrance Art Museum is currently hiring a part-time Volunteer Coordinator. The deadline for application is 10/18/2017 at 5 pm.


The Torrance Art Museum (TAM) is the premiere exhibition space located in the South Bay community of Torrance whose programming is primarily focused on the temporary display of contemporary art.  The Volunteer Coordinator reports to the Museum Curator, and is responsible for recruiting, scheduling, training and recognizing volunteers. Currently, TAM has about 40 volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will plan at least one annual field trip and recognition event.  Additionally, this position will assist the TAM curatorial team with maintaining an online presence through all channels, and ensuring fulfillment of items to TAMA members.
