Continuing TAM’s inclusive dedication to supporting artists and their own methods of self-presentation and representation the links below are useful in extending artists opportunities and networks around the world, particularly through group action.

Artist-Run Alliance

A source for international connection between artist-run initiatives: Artist-Run Alliance is a non-profit, artist-led global network of independent artist-run initiatives, promoting direct communication between artists, artist-run groups and alternative art lovers in their localities and around the world.

Organized by the Alfred Institute for Art and Culture, the idea for the Artist Run Alliance has grown out of our work as an independent, non-profit art space. The Artist Run Alliance is an ongoing, developing project whose primary focus is to cater to the international art community, but also intent on engaging the general public. The platform includes up-to-date information of activities, events and happenings from members, with the aim of connecting artists on a local level with the public at large.

Supporting grass-roots artistic initiatives, as TAM does, these art fairs showcase international, non-commercial, artist-run spaces and galleries, collectives and innovative manifestations of artist endeavor:
