Join us Saturday Oct. 29, 1:00pm - 3:00pm, for "We Are All Americans" - an oral history recording workshop facilitated by Michele Jaquis, whose work is included in the Un-Civil War! exhibition. Participants will be paired up and taught how to use digital audio recorders and the voice memo app on their phones to record conversations about what it means to be American and what it would take to cause or prevent another US Civil War. Each participant will be given a copy of their recording and the opportunity share excerpts with the larger group. They will also have the option to include their recording in a future episode of the We Are All Americans podcast - quotes from which are being embroidered by Michele Jaquis onto altered American flags, like the ones on display at TAM.
