The Torrance Art Museum in conjunction with the Torrance Library host Stories in Art

Stories in Art is a free storytelling and art workshop for children ages 7 to 11 and an accompanying adult. Participants and their parents meet in the Polly Watts Story Theatre at the Katy Geissert Civic Center Library (3301 Torrance Blvd) for storytelling. Afterwards, they walk to the Torrance Art Museum to tour the current exhibitions. Following the tour, participants create artwork related to the afternoon's activities in the Children's Art Wing of the Torrance Cultural Arts Center.
