Beginning in the 17th Century with King Louis 14th, the Sun King who built the Baroque palace of Versailles, we continue to monitor the tastes of the aristocrats during the Rococo period and their lifestyles that will backfire on them due to decadence. The Revolutionary period begins using art to support the cause.

Lecture will be presented by Art Historian Mary Drobny, with a tour of the Torrance Art Museum to follow.
